Our temporary housing services provide a welcome bridge for your assignees. Our interim accommodation properties are serviced so your assignees typically have access to utilities, cleaning, internet and phone. This service usually helps transition through the first stage of a long-term assignment. You can also use it for senior management or to cover the duration of a short-term assignment.

Cost—Santa Fe can negotiate competitive rates with a variety of temporary accommodation providers in high-quality locations. We can arrange to get you further rate reductions if you are undertaking group moves or if you anticipate regular interim occupancy.

Length of stay—Temporary accommodation can be booked for extended periods where necessary. Assignees typically stay from one to three months while they prepare to move into their permanent home. This is standard in the mobility policies of our corporate clients.

You can have confidence that you will find exceptional standards of accommodation and service. Most assignment packages include temporary accommodation. We understand that this frequently features as part of assignment packages, irrespective of assignee type and seniority. Our service options include 

Pre-selected accommodation
Designated facilities selected and secured in advance in full consultation with you. This may include establishing budget ranges for assignees. Following your instruction, Santa Fe undertakes all rate negotiations and bookings on behalf of the assignee and coordinates his arrival. The majority of Santa Fe’s corporate clients prefer this service option.

Accompanied accommodation sourcing
Santa Fe guides and assists the assignee in selecting and securing accommodation within your parameters. We keep these in mind while we agree an accommodation brief with the assignee and we conduct market research. Once we have found suitable accommodation, we negotiate terms that offer both security and flexibility. If your assignees are likely to need temporary accommodation for several months, our accompanied sourcing is a popular option. Companies also choose it for senior assignees who may select serviced accommodation as a long-term option. However, there are times when availability is extremely scarce (e.g., high season, during key sporting events or festivals) and this option becomes difficult to find and expensive.

Serviced accommodation is usually more cost-effective and comfortable than a hotel stay. However, we remind clients that it is more costly than a longer-term standard tenancy, where an assignee enters into a contract directly with a landlord, usually for a period of a year.
