There are signs that the rates of rental increases are starting to slow in certain markets. Prices are predicted to fall by 10% over the next two years.
We are seeing the return of accidental Landlords in the London market. Due to the fall in house prices and increase in mortgage rates, some owners are opting to rent their properties. Although this increases stock levels most Landlords will want short leases (1 – 2 years) in order to sell the property once the sales market normalises.
