Global Immigration updates primarily effective in June 2025, with specific dates provided where applicable, offering an early look at key changes to help you prepare in advance.

🇦🇺 Australia will introduce new visa conditions for employers sponsoring temporary skilled visa holders, including mandatory reporting obligations and salary thresholds aligned with market rates. Effective: 1 June 2025.

🇫🇷 France will begin issuing one-year temporary residence permits to undocumented workers in labour-shortage sectors such as construction and hospitality, as part of its immigration reform. Effective: 1 June 2025.

🇵🇱 Poland will introduce a simplified fast-track process for work authorisation in sectors such as IT, healthcare, and manufacturing, reducing paperwork and approval times for employers. Effective: 10 June 2025.

🇺🇸 United States will increase premium processing fees across multiple visa categories. The H-1B category, for example, will rise from USD 2,500 to USD 2,805. Effective: 24 June 2025.
