Payment Counters Closure and Half-Day Operations at the MYXpats Centre
The MYXpats Centre’s payment counters will be closed on Monday, 31 December 2018 and the MYXpats Centre itself will only operate from 9am to 1pm on the said day. The MYXpats Centre will be closed from 1pm on Monday, 31 December 2018 and will remain closed until Tuesday, 1 January 2019.
Who will be affected?
All Malaysian companies that submit applications through the Expatriate Services Division portal.
Background:
As the year-end is approaching, companies must take note of the notice of closure given by the MYXpats Centre and plan their assignees’ applications and travels to Malaysia accordingly.
Impacts:
- The MYXpats Centre will only operate between 9am to 1pm on Monday, 31 December 2018. The MYXpats Centre will be closed from 1pm on Monday, 31 December 2018 until Tuesday, 1 January 2019.
- Therefore, due to the closure, any payment of government fee cannot be made on Monday, 31 December 2018. Payment of government fee which relates to endorsement, Transfer of Endorsement, Special Pass and other related applications must be done by Friday, 28 December 2018 before 4pm.

Companies must take note of the above closure at the MYXpats Centre to ensure a smooth transaction with the said authority during this year-end period.
