Immigration — Malaysia: Update on expats service centre (MDEC) and MYXPATS centre operating hours
Operating hours for Expats Service Centre (MDEC) and MYXpats Centre will change during Hari Raya Aidil Fitri 2023.
Impact
Please be informed of the revised operating hours for the visa/pass processing authorities in light of the Prime Minister’s announcement on 18 April 2023.
- For companies under the purview of the Expatriate Services Division (ESD), the MYXpats Centre (Mutiara Damansara and Penang) will be closed on Friday, 21 April 2023, and Monday, 24 April 2023, in observance of Hari Raya Aidil Fitri celebrations.
- For companies under Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), the Expats Service Centre will be closed on Thursday, 20th April 2023, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Additionally, the front counter will be closed for the entire day on the same day. The Expat Service Centre will resume operations as usual on Tuesday, 25th April 2023.
