Extended mandatory quarantine for all individuals from Indian airports
Mandatory quarantine upon arrival for all individuals (regardless the nationality) coming from Indian airports has been extended until June 12th.
Who will be affected?
All individuals coming from Indian airports via directs flight or intermediate stops.
Background
On February 18th it was approved by the Ministry Chamber the SND/133/2021 Order stating 10 days long quarantine upon arrival for all individuals coming from India airports as a result of COVID-19 health measures.
Impact
During the 10 days long quarantine period, persons referred to in the previous section must remain at home or accommodation, and must limit their travel, as well as the access to third parties’ to the domicile, to essential activities such as:
a) Food and essential medicines purchase.
b) Assistance to health centres, services and establishments.
c) Causes of force majeure or situation of need.
This period may end earlier, if on the 7th day the person takes a diagnostic test for COVID-19 with a negative result.
Implementation
The Spanish Ministry has approved that the extension will be in force from May 30th until Jun 12th 00:00h.

Based on the evolution of COVID-19 in India, the situation could be extended.
