Immigration update: Germany | Restrictions for stays in hotels or temporary accommodations
In line with the current Corona regulations, stays in hotels and serviced apartments in Germany for personal or business purposes are allowed on a 2G rule “geimpft” (vaccinated) or “genesen” (recovered) or 3G rule “geimpft” (vaccinated) or “genesen” (recovered) or “getestet” (tested).
The enforcement of the 2G /3G rules varies across the federal states, please check here for the specifics. Accordingly, the accommodation providers cannot accept the check-in if the 2G/3G requirements are not fulfilled as applicable. PCR tests or antigen tests might be required at the time of check in to the accommodation.
The current regulations are subject to change anytime at the discretion of the government; therefore, we strongly recommend that you check the status regularly.
