Immigration update: Indonesia | Lifts entry ban for international travellers from 14 countries
The Indonesian government has lifted its entry ban on nationals from 14 countries and shortened its quarantine period for all international travellers, citing stringent mitigation measures in Indonesia and the importance of allowing cross-country movements for economic recovery.

International travellers who want to enter Indonesia.
Impact
- The Government of Indonesia has lifted the entry ban of foreign nationals with a travel history from South Africa, Botswana, Norway, Angola, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Eswatini, Lesotho, United Kingdom, and Denmark.
- Shorten length of mandatory quarantine for all international travellers from 10 x 24 hours to 7 x 24 hours.
Implementation
Effective from 12 January 2022 and would be evaluated periodically.
