The Dutch Consulate General in Istanbul is temporarily closed from 30 January 2023 until further notice.
Who will be affected?
Those in need of any services provided by the Dutch Consulate General in Istanbul; MVV and Schengen visa applications for instance.
Background
The temporary closure is due to possible protests and an increased threat against Western targets in the vicinity of the location of the Dutch Consulate General.
Impact
For those in need of consular services, we recommend contacting our immigration team. We are in contact with the Dutch embassy in Ankara, with who we can reschedule your appointment until the Consulate General in Istanbul opens again or another solution will be provided.
