Effective 19 September 2018, Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) will implement the Sales and Services Tax (SST) at six percent (6%), in line with the announcement made by the government of Malaysia.
Who will be affected?
All Malaysian companies that submit applications through the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC).
Background:
SST will be set to six percent (6%) effective from 19 September 2018 onwards. The revised rate will be reflected on all transactions at MDEC.
