Travel ban into Indonesia
Indonesian COVID-19 Task Force has released circular letter No.4 of 2020 on additional travel ban into Indonesia to prevent the spread of a new COVID-19 strain in the country.

International travellers entering Indonesia
Implementation
Due to the new found COVID-19 strain, the Indonesian COVID-19 Task Force has released a circular letter that affects International travellers as below.
+ Indonesian border is temporarily closed to foreign travellers starting 1 January 2020 until the 14 January 2020. This may change at short notice.
+ Exceptions to the travel ban are for diplomatic visa holders entering Indonesia for official visits, current residence permit holders (ITAS & ITAP Online), returning Indonesian citizens.
Health protocol for exempted travellers:
+ Negative PCR test issued at a maximum of 48 hours prior to departure time.
+ Re-take of PCR test upon entry to Indonesia.
+ 5-day quarantine at a government appointed quarantine facility, costs are borne by travellers.
+ Additional PCR test upon 5-day quarantine prior the release from the government facility.

Due to the rapid changes in border closures and health requirements, Santa Fe recommends travellers to keep travel dates flexible.
