Corporate Immigration update—Update of the Online Portal Documentation for EU Blue Card

Overview
Effective 19 June 2024, the integrationmigranti.gov.it portal announced an update of the form for applying for the EU Blue Card following the publication of Legislative Decree No. 152 on October 18, 2023.
Who will be affected?
This update is specifically applicable for the EU Blue Card process.
Background
The form must be submitted by the employer through the Ministry of Interior’s Services Portal, specifically the Single Immigration Desk section, and with the new update extra documents are requested to prove the unavailability of local candidates and certifying company information.
Impact
All company that wants to submit EU Blue Card process will now be requested to upload, at the online request phase:
- Document verifying the unavailability of local candidates
- Sworn statement as per Article 24-bis, paragraph 21 of the Consolidated Immigration Act certifying company information
