Myanmar | Coronavirus impact on issuing visa on arrival tourists
Effective from 1st Feb 2020, Myanmar Immigration Authorities have temporarily suspended issuing any Visa On Arrival to tourists entering from People’s Republic of China as a preventive measure of the Coronavirus outbreak.
Who will be affected?
Chinese Passport holders and other nationalities residing in People’s Republic of China.
Impact
The immigration authorities have been advised by the Ministry of Foreign affairs not to issue visa on arrival and not allow transit into Myanmar to these travelers.
Implementation
These measures have already been implemented and will remain in effect until further notice is received from the authorities.
