Processing Delays Expected During The Eid Holidays (Eid Al Fitr June 02 – June 08)
Following the directives of The President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE Cabinet announced that the Eid Al Fitr holiday for the public sector from Sunday, June 2, for one week, with work resuming on Sunday, June 9.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation in line with the UAE cabinet’s decision has confirmed the same.
Who will be affected?
All individual employees and employers who have pending visa process or awaiting approvals should anticipate longer processing times for various visa applications filed during this period.
Impact :
All Public sector offices remain closed or function with limited operations during this period.
Employers and Individuals who are awaiting visa approvals will expect processing delays and those who are looking at submitting a visa application are advised to file time-sensitive applications after the Eid holidays to avoid the personal documents being held up at the Immigration department.
